Resource:

In Public Resource folder everyone is allowed to access (Copy/Read) and modify (Delete/Cut/Write) data, especially students use this resource to save and share their academia related data.

Faculty Resource:

In Faculty Resource folder only faculty users are allowed to modify and access data, other users are only allowed to access data but they cannot modify the data, especially faculty members use this resource to place their courses related data for students.

Research Resource:

Here, Only Researchers are allowed to modify and access Research related data and software, others users can only access the data but cannot modify the data.

Software Resource:

At this resource no one can modify the software (Delete/Cut) but every user is allowed to access required software.
