Print & Electronic Books
Library has a collection of more than 40,000 books in print format. These books are on a variety subjects catering to needs of students, researchers and faculty members. More than 20,000 electronic books have been made available to the users. The access to half of the electronic books is facilitated by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. Remaining electronic books are the property of Sukkur IBA library and it is permitted that these books be used by adhering to copyright laws.
Periodical Collection
Library subscribes to more than 30 print journals whereas an access to more than 4400 electronic journals is also available through various online databases. The library owns a periodical section which displays the latest journals, magazines and newspapers. In this section, comfortable sofas along with the cozy environment are also provided for disturbance free reading. Library also subscribes to five national and one international newspaper. Dawn, The News, Business Recorder, Jang, and Express are the national newspapers whereas The international Financial Time is also being subscribed by the library. Further, Kawish; Sindhi newspaper is also a part of library’s newspapers subscriptions.
Donated Collections
Library welcomes unconditional donations. A number of books donations have been received and are processed to make them ready for users. The major donated collections include more than 5500 books with diverse subject coverage from Syed Shah Muhammad Shah and a very good collection of books from worthy Director Sukkur IBA, Mr. Nisar Siddique. In order to acknowledge these donations Riaz Siddiqui and Shah Muhammad Shah corners are established in the library.
Library has a large number of donated collections from philanthropists that are housed in designated corners in the library.

Depository Collection
Sukkur IBA library is a depository of Asian Development Bank. The publications of ADB are placed in separate section after essential processing. The collection contains statistical information sources along with report regarding business, industry, socio economic aspects of Asian nations etc.
CD/DVD ROMs
Sukkur IBA library has more than 380 CDs and DVDs. This educational material can be utilized within library premises. For this purpose, multimedia centre is equipped with latest technologies.
